USD / JPY The U.S. dollar rose sharply against the yen to a new intraday high of Y77.90. The nearest resistance Y77.93 (yesterday's high).

EUR / USD The pair accelerated the decline after the consumer price index in Germany, which was weaker than the August results, although it coincided with the forecast of the market.
