WSE: Mid session comment

Since yesterday, the Warsaw market is struggling with a clear weakness. The causes can be traced to rumors about a possible consolidation of the Polish pension funds.

In the mid-session the WIG20 index was at 1,775 points (-1.79%) with a turnover of less than PLN 250 mln.

The first half of the session was a success of supply side, which received support from core markets, the DAX and the CAC lost about 0.6 percent. The red is also a contract on the S&P500, which restatement combined with the decline in oil prices.
