PBOC sets USD/CNY reference rate at 6.3763
The People’s Bank of China (PBOC) set the USD/CNY reference rate at 6.3763 on Monday when compared to the previous fix of 6.3896.
USD/CNY spiked to daily highs of 6.3784 on the mixed Chinese GDP and Retail Sales data releases. The uptick quickly faded, as the price now trades at 6.3739, modestly flat on the day.
