The Bank of England Governor Mark Carney: the BoE will increase interest rates when the UK economy returned to normal
The Bank of
England (BoE) Governor Mark Carney said at the press conference following the
release of the BoE’s quarterly inflation report:
- The BoE
will increase interest rates when the UK economy returned to normal;
- The British
economy is moving closer to the point of needing tighter policy;
- The interest
rate hike would be "gradual and limited.”
