Company News: Citigroup (C) Quarterly Results Beat Analysts’ Expectations

Citigroup reported Q1 FY 2016 earnings of $1.10 per share (versus $1.52 in Q1 FY 2015 beating analysts' consensus of $1.05.

The company's quarterly revenues amounted to $17.555 bln (-11.1% y/y), slightly beating consensus estimate of $17.444 bln.

C rose to $46.00 (+2.27%) in pre-market trading.
