GBP/USD fell to $ 1.2439, updating the session low after weak data on inflation in the UK. The January consumer price index was -0.5%, while the previous value showed an increase of + 0.5%
It should be noted that the data is in line with analysts' forecasts. However, the rate of inflation in annual terms fell short of the forecasts and amounted to 1.8% against the forecast of 1.9%.
