Growth in the French private sector continued in November, according to the latest flash data. In fact, the rate of expansion accelerated from the prior survey period with the IHS Markit Flash France Composite Output Index, which is based on around 85% of usual monthly survey replies, posting a six-and-a-half year high of 60.1, up from 57.4 in October. The increase in output remained broad-based across both the manufacturing and services subsectors.
