ECB's Draghi says sustained adjustment in the path of inflation towards our aim is condition for net asset purchases to end

  • Adjustments to our policy will remain predictable, and they will proceed at a measured pace

  • We still need to see further evidence that inflation dynamics are moving in the right

Draghi: our communication, and rate path itself, will be calibrated to ensure that inflation continues to evolve along a trajectory that is consistent with the sustained adjustment path
