Company News: American Airlines (AAL) quarterly earnings miss analysts’ estimate
American Airlines (AAL) reported Q4 FY 2019 earnings of $1.15 per share (versus $0.97 per share in Q4 FY 2018), missing analysts' consensus estimate of $1.16 per share.
The company's quarterly revenues amounted to $11.313 bln (+3.4% y/y), roughly in line with analysts' consensus estimate of $11.324 bln.
The company also issued in-line guidance for FY 2020, projecting EPS of $4.00-6.00 versus analysts' consensus estimate of $5.12.
AAL fell to $27.10 (-0.81%) in pre-market trading.
