Company News: Barrick (GOLD) quarterly earnings beat analysts’ forecast
Barrick (GOLD) reported Q2 FY 2020 earnings of $0.23 per share (versus $0.09 per share in Q2 FY 2019), beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $0.18 per share.
The company’s quarterly revenues amounted to $2.111 bln (+2.3% y/y), missing analysts’ consensus estimate of $2.901 bln.
Barrick declared a dividend for the second quarter of 2020 of $0.08 per share, a 14% increase on the previous quarter’s dividend.
GOLD rose to $29.25 (+1.32%) in pre-market trading.
