The S&P 500 continues to outpace the other major indices, posting a gain of 0.5% while the Dow and Nasdaq follow with respective gains of 0.3% and 0.4%. Energy stocks are leading this morning's advance, as the S&P 500 Energy Index trades higher by 1.2%. The weaker dollar has sent crude oil higher by 1.5%, which has provided a boost to energy shares.
